The Water’s Edge Aquatic Center offers the opportunity for patrons to drop-in for public swim in our lap pool during designated hours. The Water’s Edge Aquatic Center offers multiple AquaFitness programs to participants. These courses offer a no-impact cardio workout designed to help you lose those extra pounds without the added stress on your joints. Classes are typically held in our dive pool while you are suspended in the water. Flotation devices are provided. The American Red Cross Learn
-to-Swim program consists of six comprehensive levels that teach participants of varying ages and abilities how to swim skillfully and safely. Each level includes training in basic water safety in addition to aquatic and safety skills taught in a logical progression.

Bensenville Wahoo Swim Team
The Bensenville Wahoo Team is a recreational swimming program offered for ages 6 -18 years. Swim Team is not designed to teach participants how to swim , but rather to teach current swimmers how to build on legal competitive swimming skills, while promoting healthy lifestyles and sportsmanship. The Wahoos compete in dual and tri-meets within the Northern Illinois Swim Conference throughout the Fall and Winter seasons and compete within the Central Suburban Swim Conference throughout the Spring and Summer seasons
