The Water’s Edge Aquatic Center located in Bensenville, Illinois has an 8 lane, 25 yard lap pool. It also has a 13 foot diving well and two 1 meter diving boards. It is handicapped accessible.

Swim Lessons
Swim lessons teach swimmers basic swimming skills, personal safety, games, and stroke development. Skills are taught based on the swimmer’s ability from beginning to advance. All children will be tested on the first day of class and grouped accordingly to their swimming ability. Swimmers must register for their current age group. Parent and child classes emphasize water adjustment, water safety and basic swimming skills. Both parent and child must be in the water.
Preschool Lessons
Preschool lessons are designed for children 3 years of age to kindergarten who want to learn to swim. The ratio for this class is five students to one instructor.
Youth Progressive Lessons
Youth Progressive lessons are designed for swimmers 1st grade and up who want to learn to swim or improve current skills. The ratio for this class is seven students to one instructor for the beginning levels and nine students to one instructor for the more advanced levels.
The Aquatic Center is located inside the Redmond Recreational Complex an 88-acre facility which houses diverse activities that we continually upgrade and improve to meet your recreational needs. Explore these exciting opportunities: Three indoor ice arenas, 1.2 mile walking path, softball field, climbing wall, baseball stadium, international soccer field, fitness center, pavilion, basketball courts, 16-acre pond, Band shell, and children’s playground.
