PUBLIC INVITED TO INPUT ON FUTURE OF TRANSPORTATION IN DUPAGE COUNTY The public is invited to join the County of DuPage at one of four upcoming public meetings to share ideas for improving transportation throughout the County. Public meetings are being held to receive public input on how the County can improve traffic flow, safety, system reliability, transit services, and more.
With anticipated growth and ongoing transportation needs, the County is seeking community input to create its first Long Range Transportation Plan. This plan, known as DuPage Connects, will govern transportation policies and practices at the County for the next 25 years. The goal of the plan is to create a vision and mission for the DuPage County Division of Transportation and to help ensure a sustainable and vibrant quality of life for residents and businesses.
All four meetings are identical in content and will be conducted in an open house format. The public is welcome to attend anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Exhibits will be on display and County representatives will be available to answer questions. The meetings will provide information on the existing conditions and ways to stay informed about the plan process. Comment cards will be distributed and attendees will be encouraged to participate in an online survey.
