Excessive Snow Event is forecasted for our area. The Village will have 24hr snow removal operations by all Public Works staff. Due to the volume of snow we are reminding residents about the Village street parking restrictions and encourage residents to use caution while driving in snowy conditions. The latest NWS report is showing snow accumulation in the O’Hare corridor of 10-14 inches starting around 6PM tonight and ending at approximately 7PM tomorrow night. The heaviest snowfall is anticipated in the early morning hours (1am-5am) with accumulations exceeding 1” per hour. Steady snow is expected throughout the morning and afternoon tomorrow. There is another chance of snowfall between 1-4” on Saturday morning (although it may stay south of us).

In anticipation of winter storm Mateo, Pace advises fixed route and ADA paratransit service passengers to postpone or cancel non-essential trips beginning this evening, February 8, through Sunday, February 11. Pace fixed route and paratransit service will likely experience significant delays due to heavy snow and hazardous driving conditions. CONTRACT ICE, STICK & HELMET/DROP IN HOCKEY SESSIONS AT EDGE ICE ARENA:
In anticipation of the winter storm, Contract Ice, Stick & Helmet/Drop In Hockey sessions at the Edge Ice Arena will be cancelled on Friday morning February 9th. The rink will open for business at 9:00 am
