At about 10:40 AM on 12-9-13, the Bensenville Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery at the Chase Bank branch located at 123 W. Main Street. Upon arrival, bank employees told the officers that a subject had entered the bank alone, stated that he was committing a robbery, and demanded that the teller give him currency from the teller’s drawer. The teller complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of currency. The subject then exited the bank, and was last seen walking northbound along Addison Street from the bank.
The offender was described as a male white about 65 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, 150 to 170 pounds, and unshaven. He was wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, thick glasses, blue jeans, and a gray scarf that partially covered his face.
