State Rep. Kathy Willis (D-Addison) will be hosting an Informational Session and Job Application Workshop with representatives from the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, to provide constituents with the opportunity to sharpen their skills and prepare to apply for open positions with the State of Illinois.

“This free workshop is geared towards helping individuals who are facing unemployment and are interested in gaining employment with the State of Illinois,” Willis said. “Job seekers will have an opportunity to speak with career professionals that can help you search through the online application system and how to apply for available positions.”

The job application workshop will allow applicants to learn what jobs are available, how to apply, what qualifications are required, where to take exams (if applicable), how to navigate the online application system and making sense of job titles and job descriptions.
