• Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth personally called Mayor Soto with exciting news that a Congressional Field Hearing will take place to discuss O’Hare Noise. This will mean an official meeting of Congress here locally to discuss O’Hare noise. The details, date, and location of the meeting have yet to be determined and we will be sure to publicize once they are known. We are very grateful for Congresswoman Duckworth’s leadership in securing this important meeting for Bensenville and all residents surrounding O’Hare.
• On April 1, 2015 the Suburban O’Hare Commission (SOC) introduced two consultant teams that will provide expert advice, technical data, recommendations and advocacy for communities impacted by O’Hare noise and other issues. You can hear and see the consultants themselves by watching the video of the SOC meeting on the Village’s website Here. The consultant teams, comprised of Lockridge, Grindal, Nauen and JDA Aviation Technology Solutions, are experts in their respective fields and will work together to come up with meaningful solutions to be implemented to improve O’Hare impacts on our communities.
