Fenton Community High School District 100 Announces School Board Vacancy
The Fenton Community High School District 100 Board of Education, DuPage County, is seeking candidates to fill a school board position following the 2015 consolidated election.
The District 100 Board of Education will act to fill the vacancy at its regular meeting on May 18 in the Fenton Community High School board room at 1000 W. Green Street, Bensenville. This position will expire in April, 2017 at which time a candidate will be elected to fill a four year board position.
Candidates must be a citizen of the United States for at least one year, 18 years of age or older, a resident of Fenton Community High School District 100 for one year prior to the appointment, and a registered voter. This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Those interested in being appointed to the District 100 Board of Education should write a letter of interest including a resume outlining personal and professional qualifications related to serving on the District 100 Board of Education. Specifically, explain your reasons for seeking a position on the District 100 Board of Education.
Materials are due by May 8 with interviews on May 11 and can be dropped off, mailed or emailed to the contact below. Depending on the response, additional interview dates may be added.
